The Chunnnenuggee Fair is a one day town fair held in Union Springs, Alabama, in the heart of the south. The modern Chunnenuggee Fair - full of history - is a continuation of a pre-Civil War festival that was originally hosted by the Chunnenuggee Horticultural Society.
Today, the fair is held in downtown Union Springs on North Prairie Street, covering the length of two city blocks with vendors located on both sides of the street. Entertainment, including live music, is centered in front of the historic Second Empire Bullock County Courthouse, built in 1872. Public parking and admission are always free! This year's Chunnenuggee Fair will be held on April 24, 2010 and will start at 9:00 am and close at 3:00 pm. We hope to see you there!
